It’s Dutch for ‘Let’s go!’ 

(Small) group training come rain, hail, wind, more wind or shine. Before you ask, the answer is yes. Yes we train outside all year round, it’s actually good for you, science says so. Unless you’re made from sugar you’ll be fine, we promise.

The Bakfiets Formula

It’s all very complicated and scientific, but here it is in a nutshell: We train in small groups, in outdoor locations, all year round. Our lessons focus on full body strength training using weights, resistance bands, your own body weight and emotional baggage (that shit is heavy!)

  • 60 minutes

    An hour of power. We train all muscle groups with strength, conditioning and mobility exercises. All of our lessons consist of a warmup, the workout and end with a short meditation so you’re sweaty and zen when you’re done. 

  • Technique

    We want you to get optimal results, and we want to teach you to train in a way that makes maintaining those results achievable, this is why we focus so much on good technique. We would rather you do half a perfect pushup than 100 non-pushups that only increase your risk of injury. Just wait until you do your first ‘perfect’ squat, your thighs will never feel the same again.

  • For every body

    Our classes are designed so that they can be easily adapted to suit any body, and any fitness level. From couch potato to professional athlete, everybody can bakfiets!

  • Quality

    Our programs have been created in collaboration with Jorden Bres. If you don’t know who he is, that’s ok, he’s the person who makes sure that the Dutch olympic team are as strong and healthy as they can be, and gold medal fit.

  • Outside

    We can give you 15 reasons why training outside is really good for you, or you could just come and try it out. Unless you’re made from sugar you will survive, we promise.
